The Grand Hotel Vanvitelli, which was named after the famous architect who designed the second most visited monument in italy, la Reggia Borbonica, created in 2000 it´s located in an important touristic area(from the Palazzo Reale, to the Belvedere di San Leucio, the ancient Capua, and the fastuous roman anphitheater of Santa Maria Capua Vetere). The hotel has a strategic location in Caserta, in the midst of so much history, and at the same time close to the most famous touristic spots in the area. Naples and its treasures are only 16 Km away. The archeologic zones of Pompei and Ercolano are only 30 Km away, the coasts of Sorrento and Amalfi can be reached in less than an hour from the hotel. In 2006 an important extention was made to the hotel. Now the hotel has 250 rooms, among which standard, Junior Suites, Suites and business rooms, all elegantly and tastefully decorated, with all modern comfort available. The hotel has a congress center with the most up to date facilities, it has 14 meeting rooms with an overall capacity of 1300 partecipants. It has 5 halls for banquets, and special events, and a refined restaurant à la carte which will add a special value to the most important occasions, thanks to the wide variety of its menu both national and international. The most beautiful spot is its new spectacular lobby with a lamp stand with a Guiness prize 9 meters high and 7 meters wide, and also with a special glass roof which completely covers the whole area specially created by master craftsmen in the art of church windows. There is also an open swimming pool with an elaborated system of sinuous water effects in the luxuriant evergreen garden. Also planned a Beauty center with the latest technologies. This will put the hotel among the most renowed spa resorts in Italy and will provide moments of perfect relaxation and well being in harmony with the pannel of all the services offered. |
